The moment you enter the Junction Grill, you will be suitably impressed by the atmosphere, ambiance and general decor. From the wide and comfortable booths to the overhanging chandeliers and cute little electric lamps, this medium sized restaurant boasts a comfortable and intimate feel. The hosts are friendly and greet everyone with a smile. Even though there are a swirl of faces serving you throughout your evening, you are always left feeling well cared for and welcome at this establishment that is well-loved by all regular patrons.
Going to the Crown Theatre one evening we decided to have something to eat before a show, and headed for Junction Grill. Despite the fact that the restaurant was quite busy, we were seated immediately. We didn't have to wait long for our orders to be taken by the friendly, helpful waiters, and our food, and drinks, arrived quickly. Everything was beautifully presented, delicious, hot and fresh. The servings are quite large, in some cases big enough to share.
The menu has a range of chicken, fish, pasta and meat dishes, which are reasonably priced, plus they have several cut-price specials available, which offer three or four different options and change on a regular basis. While you wait for your meal you can watch the food being cooked on the open grill or watch the mouth watering pizzas being prepared in the wood fired oven.
We have been there for a meal several times and have not yet been disappointed. On this occasion our group chose an assortment of dishes including Lemon Pepper Chicken for $29.95, Chicken Parmigiana for $23.95 and Fish and Chips for $22.95.
The Junction Grill menu also has a range of mouth-watering desserts including Peach Melba, and White Chocolate and Macadamia Cheesecake, both of which were absolutely yummy.
So, next time you visit the Casino or if you are looking for somewhere to dine, check out Junction Grill. You won't be disappointed.
