I'm a part time actor and part time writer living in Perth. I love being on stage. I love going out with friends, doesn't matter what we do

Want to see your food get cooked?
Looking for a quick bite to eat before going to a show at the Crown Theatre? My partner and I decided to try out Junction Grill and one of their specials.
We had a little bit of time before our show started, but we were seated and attended to quickly by our waitress. I ordered a Chicken Parmigiana and cider while my partner ordered the Rump Steak and a beer.
Our drinks arrived quickly from the bar, which you wouldn't really notice hiding in the corner, unless you were looking for it. While we were waiting for our meals, we watched the chefs in the kitchen, through the large pane of glass opening it up for customers to see.
The 'open' Kitchen
Our meals arrived quicker than either of us expected, and I'm sorry to say were a little disappointing. I realise these meals were on special, but it doesn't take much to add a little bit of greenery to make the meal look that more appetising.
My parmy could have benefited from a few more chips, and from actually being hotter. My guess is they had a heap waiting for orders with the special and just cranked them out, without making sure they were nice and hot. The only thing my partner could say about his was that it, too, needed more chips.

So if you are looking for a quick pre show meal, you can try Junction Grill. This venue is 18 plus only as it is on the gaming floor.
