I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

The original protagonists organise to meet up after a year but Sheldon fails to turn up. It turns out he has returned to the game, where he feels special and his friends are then forced on a quest to rescue him. The addition of Danny De Vito, Danny Glover to the cast creates an extra dimension and emotion to the story and Awkwafina as Ming Fleetfootprovides another strong female character. Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson have an amazing comedic chemistry and are great to watch.

Family fun (image JW)

This movie is great fun and is suitable for families, with adults and children finding humour in different parts of the story. The ostrich chase scenes and the attack of the maniacal mandrills may prove to be a little scary for the very young and some jokes may go over their heads.

Take your family to next level of Jumanji this school holidays!
