On Saturday 23rd September 2017, Julio's Restaurant in West Perth is hosting an Italian Wine Dinner event. Bookings are now open for this indulgent dining experience featuring Italian wine expert David Mullen.
Commencing at 6.30pm, guests will be treated to 4 delicious courses, with each dish expertly paired with the perfect Italian wine.
The menu showcases a vibrant celebration of classic Italian cuisine and each course will be prepared and plated by Julio's experienced chefs.
The evening will begin with a delicious entree of sous vide vanilla asparagus, with 62° poached egg and tiger prawns in semolina dust. This tantalising dish will be accompanied by a glass of Pieropan: Soave Classico 2015.
First course is arborio rice with bisque, local tiger prawns, blue swimmer crab and buffalo mozzarella. Complementing this seafood dish is a glass of Puiatti: SAL Pinot Grigio.
Second course is white rock veal involtini, filled with pecorino toscano, compressed pear and pistachios, jerusalem artichoke puree, pepper tears drop and veal jus. Accompanying this meat dish is a glass of Rasciatano: Nero di Troia.
For dessert, guests will enjoy the decadent cappuccino goloso, consisting of six layers of indulgence with a glass of Marcarini: Moscato D'Asti.
