Gather - Julie Goodwin's latest cookbook.
You may know Julie Goodwin as a singer and as the winner of the inaugural season of MasterChef in 2009. Since then you may know her as the author of her popular and successful cookbooks Our Family Table, with its combination of simple and delicious recipes, and The Heart of The Home, with more easy to follow family recipes and stories.
Well, here is a a wonderful moment for all you cooks, budding chefs and book-lovers to not only meet best-selling original Australian MasterChef,Julie Goodwin, but an opportunity where you can bring along a favourite dish of your own, with your recipe, to share with others over lunch at Julie's book launch.
Julie will be launching her third cookbook, Gather, which is all about how she celebrates the coming together of family and friends and how much she values cooking for them at their gatherings. Gather offers over 100 delicious recipes with wonderful photographs. The recipes are suitable for various occasions, whether it be a relaxing picnic, a warm and cosy dinner party, a street party, cake stall, family pizza dinner, or a cocktail party to the perfect High Tea.
The book contains stories and photographs of Julie's family and friends, inter-woven with lots of exciting recipes to appeal to various kinds of gatherings. It also includes some blank pages for you to record your own successful gatherings with friends and family.
