This Winter, head down to St James for FREE Lunchtime Jazz as part of this year's stellar Melbourne International Jazz Festival programme!

This special series of live music concerts kicks off on Friday 3rd of June, 2016 at 12pm with the talented Monash University Australian Jazz Ensemble. This emerging Australian jazz talent has performed at major University events/concerts and at jazz clubs around Melbourne. The ensemble is comprised of mainly undergraduate students who perform a standard/traditional and contemporary repertoire.

The series will continue with two performances by Wallace on Thursday 9th & Friday 10th June, 2016. A rising future-soul superstar, the Sydney-based songstress will be showcasing her unique brand of blues-inflected jazz accompanied by her band. Event-goers will be treated to original compositions and neo-soul reimaginings of jazz standards.

This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the spirit of jazz and it sure to put a smile on your face on a dreary winter's day.

All concert events are FREE to attend and all are welcome.
