This playground is the best playground in the South. In my opinion this playground come a close second to St Kilda playground north of Adelaide.

If you have never visited Jubilee with your kids, it's time you did. This place is perfect for an energy burning afternoon, birthday party or family gathering.

Built by local community businesses and beautifully maintained by the council, the playground is castle like with its own little fire station and fire truck in the main area and a brightly coloured area for the youngsters, as well as BBQ and picnic facilities catering for all ages.

Plus with the recent instalment of a giant giraffe statue, there's no way you can miss this place!

There is even a little lunch truck that visits regularly with the much needed coffee and ice cream that goes with a great day out!

The main part of the playground is fully fenced for parents peace of mind, however, the area for the smaller children is quite close to the road, so if you have fast little toddlers you will still need to keep a very close eye on them!

This place also gets really busy on the weekend and while it's a reasonably large carpark, it does get filled up quickly. While very family friendly, dogs are not permitted, so please leave Fido at home.

I was surprised to see the new giraffe here. We spent some time visiting him and taking photos and were disappointed to find that the icecream truck had taken off while we were at the far end of the playground.
