Join sexy Juan Vesuvius, Venezualan DJ on a cruise around the Caribbean with his vinyl mash-ups, 'loco' antics and Venezualan humour. This show is loads of fun, so don't miss it!

Learn about 'Soca', Harry Belafonte, Sinbad the Sailor and Enya whilst learning the origins of chutney, the United Fruit Company, Alibaba and John Denver's obsession with riding horses. Hallucinate and get intimate with bananas, rum, The Walrus, Wham, Snoop Doggins and Budgie. Stroke a moustache and dance the night away to Calypso beats and Club Tropicana and engage with your fellow punters! Make sure you buy Juan's album before you leave! You won't be disappointed! Maybe bring Juan bananas and homemade chutney to break the ice!

A note for the uninitiated to the laneway bars of Melbourne:

Roxanne Bar is located next door to Charlton's in Coverlid Lane, in Chinatown off Little Bourke Street, between Russell and Exhibition Streets. It looks and smells dodgy, but the team at the MICF have it all sorted.

Then walk up the six flights of wooden stairs to Charlton's Bar (i.e. best be sober before attempting this ascent). Turn right and pick up your tickets from the MICF box office, grab a drink or two and then head back out to the main bar and see a sign 'Downstairs' and take one short flight of stairs to find Juan behind a blue and red door on the right. There are also toilets on this floor. Ah! Relief! Hang around after the show for some karaoke and meet other comedy stars finishing their shows.
