If you suffer from motion sickness like myself and dread going on a boat, then this is for you. Your visit to Niagara Falls is not complete until you have experienced the
Journey Behind the Falls. It brings you 125 feet (approximately 40 metres) down onto an observation deck and through 130-year-old tunnels. The view from the foot of the falls as well as behind the crashing waters is breathtaking.
It is indeed an experience you won't want to miss. But do be aware that it can get extremely crowded during peak times. My recommendation would be to get there early first thing in the morning as it opens. We were there at 9am in mid-June and it was perfect without any queues and even had the observation deck and tunnels all to ourselves for a short while.
