is a family friendly picnic spot featuring open space, ample natural shade, two tennis courts, a basketball ring, a paved footpath and playground equipment. With these facilities available, Joslin is somewhere families with children of all ages can gather to enjoy a day outdoors with a relaxed atmosphere.



Joslin's size makes it easy for patrons to use all the facilities no matter where they are set up in the reserve. This means parents will not have to trek across vast areas to appease children wanting to use the playground equipment or basketball ring. However, at the same time there is enough space to kick a ball or for a game of cricket, making great for families and groups who like activities to break up their outings.



The playground features two sets of swings, a slide and multiple places for children to climb. Bright and colourful, it is centrally located, making it easily accessible from any part of the reserve. For older children (or adults wanting to join in the activities) there are the two tennis courts. Booking the courts is not necessary, however there is a thirty-minute time limit for usage. This is not monitored, instead relying on an honesty system.

Meanwhile, the paved footpath weaves through the reserve allowing people to ride their bicycles or scooters. It is the ideal setting for children learning to ride, with a simple and straightforward trail. Additionally, the basketball ring is another feature that can provide entertainment during the day, with a paved half-court giving enough space for small games to take place.

For families and large groups wanting a change of scenery (picturesque scenery at that) and somewhere different from their usual picnic area that still has facilities to entertain, is the ideal location.
