Josh Moore, who is a current 4th Dan black belt (going for his 5th Dan black belt later this year), has been teaching martial arts for the last 7 years. He gained his 1st Dan black belt from Jan de Jong School in Perh at age 11.
He has two schools in the northern suburbs - one at Wangara and another at Ellenbrook. A third school will be opening at Carramar later this year.
It takes on average 4 years to gain a 1st Dan black belt. All students have the opportunity to test their skills through tournaments with other clubs.
His schools have held demonstrations at the Joondalup Festival and school fetes. Students age range from 4 years old to 50 years old.
Social activities are also included with children s games nights held regularly.
