a friend of his vocal coach. Mr. Foster hired him as a rehearsal singer for a variety of events, including standing in for Andrea Bocelli during a Grammy's rehearsal with Celine Dion. Rosie O'Donnell happened to be the host of the Grammy's that year, and she invited him on her talk show. He later signed a recording contract and his first album, "Josh Groban," was released in November 2001 when he was 20 years old.
Since then, Josh has sold millions of albums worldwide and continues to wow fans with his soulful voice. If you've never heard him live, or have but would just love to hear him again, you'll have your chance as he performs two concerts in the area during his "Straight to You Tour" where he'll be performing songs from several of his albums. The first concert is November 4 at 7pm at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island where ticket prices start at $58.65 and the second concert is November 14 at 7:30p at Madison Square Garden where ticket prices start at $63.15.
