On Sunday, 1 May, the City of Joondalup and Inclusion WA present Community Connect Joondalup Welcome Day 2016, a free community event where you can meet some fun clubs and recreational groups, appreciate the talent of local performers, and have a bite to eat from local vendors at Sorrento who will have tasty food for sale. Run from 10.00am to 1.00pm, it will be a pleasant way to while away a couple of hours and, who knows, you might just find the right club for you.
The objective of the Community Connect Sport and Recreation Program is to train, mentor and empower local clubs to be more inclusive with the aim of welcoming all community members.
