Rugby can become a bit of a forgotten sport in South Australia. Some view it as a rough game for brutes and bullies, others may see it as the territory of the Eastern states. Rugby Union is a team sport, like AFL it is a full contact sport that involves tackling other players to gain possession of the ball. Most clubs will charge an annual membership fee. These can vary based on whether you're a playing or social member. Membership covers things like insurance, but it can also mean access to club facilities like bars and social events.
