Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Boy – PHSG Movie Fundraiser


Experience the life and times of the great 'rocker', Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Boy, in a 50-seat state-of-the-art private cinema. Rock back in your plush leather seats (popcorn in hand), and enjoy an exciting up-close all round visual and sound feast, specific to this unique boutique cinema. Hosted by Perth Homeless Support Group (PHSG), at the intimate Backlot Studios, on Friday, October 5, 2018, from 6:15pm.

The proceeds of Working Class Boy, go directly to the Perth Homeless Support Group, a not-for-profit charity organisation, that seeks to assist those who are homeless on the streets of Perth, Western Australia.

Additionally, enjoy a bag of gourmet popcorn from The Pop Institute included in the ticket price of just $30.00 per person. Moreover, add the door prize, a few nibbles and a raffle on the night ensures this is one great night out. Although the doors and bar are open from 6:15pm, please note that the movie starts promptly at 7:00pm.

Annie's Woodfired Pizza will be there from 6:15pm, for you to purchase yummy pizzas before the movie. Vegetarian to full on meat lovers are catered for, so come prepared for a varied choice and taste to suit all.

You can purchase your tickets here , at just $30.00 per person and enjoy a terrific night out at the movies while helping to support the homeless in Perth. The Backlot Studios, 21 Simpson Street, West Perth. Moreover, all proceeds from the movie will provide Care Pack items to feed the homeless.

Working Class Boy, traces the life of the legendary 'rocker', Jimmy Barnes, from his traumatic childhood to the present day, as one of Australia's most iconic artists.

Care Packs help homeless

PHSG volunteers meet every Sunday from 9:30am, at Wellington Square, East Perth, where the homeless can collect Care Packs (food and toiletries), and seasonal items (beanies, socks, blankets).
