After the success of at the Cabaret Soiree in Perth, Luigi Lucente is bringing his one-man show to Melbourne as part of Midsumma Festival .

will take place at 45 downstairs from 21 to 25 January, 2015. It's inspired by words, poems and testimonies of Jim Morrison, set to the rocking score of The Doors.


It transported the audience through a haunting mixture of text and song. A thought provoking soundscape recreates the listener to the 1960's.

Many people may be familiar with Lucente with his roles as Leo Frank in the Collective's Parade, Leon Czolgosz in Assassins and 40th anniversary of Australian tour of The Rocky Horror Show.


Lucente said "I've always been fascinated with Morrison's body of work, a short-lived dramatic fireball of radical ideas and rebellion."
