At the age of 76, there is no stopping palette knife artist Jim Flood, as he will be exhibiting in the Broadhurst Gallery (Hazelhurst), 782 Kingsway, Gymea, NSW. The exhibition is free and starts on Friday 9 February and is open every day, from 10am to 5pm until Tuesday 20 February, 2018.

Entitled 'Inside the Artist's Studio', Jim will be creating a 'pop-up studio' replicating a section of his home studio. He will showcase a step by step journey of creating a painting from the very beginning to the conclusion of the finished artwork.

The exhibition will encompass a broad range of Jim's work, including a series of local Sutherland Shire Scenes, landscapes and river scenes.

All welcome to attend at the official opening on Saturday 10 February at 2pm and share refreshments with the artist.

Jim will be on hand most days from 10am to 4pm, demonstrating the art of the palette knife and will be delighted to discuss his work.

This is an exhibition not to be missed by lovers of art and those of you that have an artistic streak and would like to learn more about how to create a painting using the palette knife.
