If you eat gluten free but have trouble finding places to go in the Phoenix metro area, you need search no further. Jewel's Cafe is the place to be.



Not only is Jewel's an excellent source for fresh gluten free pastries and bread, they also boast an entirely gluten free kitchen serving old favourites you never wanted to give up like biscuits & gravy, chicken & waffles, and pancakes.



Since Jewel's is only open for breakfast and lunch, we usually go on the weekend. There is indoor and outdoor seating with a covered patio, though in the summer weather most tend to want to stay indoors. Seating is limited and tables are set pretty close to one another, but the atmosphere is cosy and has the feeling of being home. There might be a bit of a wait during standard meal times, but the food is well worth the wait. It's a great place to bring the entire family, though you may not want to leave small children unattended.



You can plan on spending around $25 for two people, but every receipt comes with a discount off your next visit. As if we needed another reason to go.
