Enjoy two hours creating your own piece of unique jewellery
Outback Ear-rings by Anja Jagsch.
Well known jewellery artist and craftsperson Anja Jagsch in conjunction with Wunderkammer Gallery and Gifts is conducting her jewellery workshop at Wunderkammer Gallery, Level 1, 129 Currie Street, Adelaide at 9.30 am - 11.30 am on Saturday, 18 June 2016.
Anja Jagsch's Jewellery Workshop is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy two hours creating your own unique piece of jewellery. Anja will assist you as you explore your own ideas as you create stylish jewellery in a fun workshop that requires you to have no prerequisites.

Anja Jagsch's main inspiration for her jewellery is nature in all its forms. She said, "I love the unexpected, unconventional, the unusual we find when we look close enough. In this upcoming workshop I will enable participants to create their own piece of jewellery. Through the ancient technique of wax modeling and casting we will be creating unique pieces."

She said, "Participants will be making a piece of jewellery out of wax or 'burnables' which is anything that burns nontoxic at high temperature. These pieces I will take to the casters and they will then be cast in silver, bronze or even gold if desired.
Pieces can be hand formed, carved, they can include materials like gum nuts, thick leaves like the ones in succulents or other found pieces of nature."
Anja is currently working at Gray Street Workshop, a fantastic creative collective of eight jewellery artists. She joined the group in February this year and thoroughly enjoys having like minded creative people around her and influencing her current development of new work.
Sue Fleming is excited at the prospect of Anja Jagsch in the very near future conducting a series of her jewellery workshops. For latest details please check with Sue Fleming at Wunderkammer Gallery and Gifts or phone 0407711667.
