Nothing is more personal than handmade jewellery. Currently Pepper Street Arts Centre is offering a series of Jewellery Making classes. Over six sessions you will make 3 items; a woven brooch, a wrap bracelet with charms and a floating necklace.

So, if you've ever dreamt up a design for a bracelet or wanted to start a creative business, here's your chance to learn the basics.

Pepper St also offers a number of other creative courses and activities. There are kids classes, and painting, drawing and mosaic classes for adults.

There are also free exhibitions, a gift shop (Tuesday to Saturdays 12 noon until 5pm) and even a weaver in residence. Pepper St in backed by the local Burnside Government and aims at keeping art flourishing in the area. It's located in the old historic Magill School Building.
