"I've done Dirty Jazz for the past two years at Fringe just with me and a piano player," Jessie says.
"This year I wanted to venture into running a cabaret show as an MC, but while also having a live band performing.
"The idea of this show is that the house band will be onstage with all the performers for two, one-hour sets, interacting with the cabaret acts if they feel like it.
"There will be different comedy, vintage dance and vaudeville acts on each night of the show."
The house band features Mark Turner on sax and guitar, Jon Matthews on guitar, Karl Florisson on upright bass and Mike Perkins on drums.
Be prepared for a saucy, smutty, stripping back of the Golden Era of Swing, replete with libations, dark corners for dark deeds, and more food references than you'll know what to do with.
Performances will be held at The Ellington Jazz Club from February 2 to 5 from 10pm to 1am (in two, one-hour sets).
