The remote and revitalising walk at the Jerusalem Creek Trail is a perfect nature break that must be visited. It is definitely a true nature experience with calls of the wompoo fruit- dove echoing through the towering tallowwoods and majestic Sydney blue gums, the sound of a piping whistle of the eastern yellow robin through the canopy and a cool slight breeze running through your hair with the smell of rich dense rainforest lingering the air.
Unfortunately, when we visited it was low rainfall and the creek was dried up, nonetheless, it was still a breathtaking view of surrounding bushland.
With the pure beauty of rainforest, this medium 2km (approximately 1hr, one way walk) is a nature's paradise and a bird enthusiasts dream.
Jerusalem Creek Trail welcomes you to a rare experience of splendour of subtropical rainforest, passing waterfalls and creeks, towering trees, wildlife and birdlife spotting, a remote picnic spot where blue gums and turpentine surrounds the sheltered picnic tables, all making this walking trail truly an experience not to be forgotten.
