Established in 1910, is an oldie but a goodie in the baked goods scene. As you step in, you can immediately see their large assortment of offerings behind the glass display.

If you're after a complete meal, start from the furthest end, where you can pick up some gourmet sandwiches or doughy pizzas. Moving further down the line, perhaps you'll change your mind and get a hot, flaky pie instead? But don't forget to bring your dessert stomach as the last two cabinets are reserved for all their sweet pastries and decadent cakes and tarts.

Passing by for afternoon tea, I picked up a strawberry milkshake, plain croissant and a Persian love cake. The milkshake is standard fare, made with strawberry syrup.

The croissant was a nice balance of savoury and sweet, suitable for adding your choice of fillings if you wanted to take away and assemble your own loaded croissant.

If you'd like to stick around and eat, there's limited outdoor seating. Otherwise, they have a well-lit room next door filled with lots of natural lighting.

Have an event to celebrate? Choose from their array of classic and indulgent celebration cakes.

If you'd like to visit, is open from weekdays from 7.00 am to 4.30 pm, Saturdays 7.30 am to 3 pm, and closed Sundays.
