These women fought a battle for equality
Jeannine Baker, Australian Women War Reporters
Australian Women War Reporters

Jeannine Baker is a highly-regarded historian at Macquarie University and has authored the book, 'Australian Women War Reporters.' She is doing a talk on this very subject at the Sydney Mechanic's School of Arts. Jeannine wants to highlight the commendable work of female war reporters such as Agnes Macready, Anne Matheson and Lorraine Stumm, and how they paved the way for current female foreign correspondents. These women had to fight for equality, whilst filing stories from the main conflicts of the 20th century. Prepare to be inspired as Jeannine Baker pays tribute to the brave and tireless work of our female war reporters.
