Event:
Where you're the singing star of the show
Do you love to sing? Is the recorded backing music in the usual karaoke venue feeling a bit flat? Then maybe it's time to try Jazzaoke!

MOJO - The Mordialloc Jazz Orchestra - runs regular big band nights where you can pick from a list of familiar jazz favourites and be the star of the show.

Elvis, is that you?

MOJO has been around in one form another for the past 88 years. They're a community band - but don't misunderstand the term 'community' to mean amateur - they're all professional players who love what they do. They work together to create amazing big band sounds from yesteryear and you'll hear music from artists such as Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and many more.

Here's a link to their list of songs: JAZZAOKE Song List

I've performed with them at Dizzy's Jazz Club in Richmond and it's immense fun - even if you've never sung with a live band before. Their next Jazzaoke event will be at the Kingston Town Hall on Wednesday 5th of July and it's only $10 entry.

If you don't fancy singing, that's okay. You might prefer some dancing or if that doesn't suit you either, just sit back, buy a drink from the bar and enjoy some great music.
