I can't think of anything better than spending a lazy, laid-back Sunday afternoon appreciating some jazz, shiraz and an exhibition of art, ceramics, photographs and jewellery. What an enjoyable way to unwind on a Sunday before starting a new week.

Bloomhill Cancer Care have organised their annual Fundraising Event, Jazz, Shiraz and Art, for Sunday 9 October 2016 between 1.00 and 4.00pm at 58 Ballinger Road, Buderim, with entertainment by Hummingbird and Maggie Wilson.

Tickets for this fantastic event are only $20 per person, which includes a glass of wine or fruit punch (for those of us over eighteen) and children have free entry. To book your tickets contact Bloomhill Cancer Care, on 5445-5794 or email Melissa Wolpert at melissa@bloomhill.com.au

Parking will be at a premium, but a shuttle bus has been organised and will operate from Buderim Central Shopping Village at 7 Lindsay Road, Buderim.

You'll have to be quick, as I know the tickets will sell out at a great pace.

If you are unable to attend Jazz, Shiraz & Art, but would still like to make a donation to Bloomhill Cancer Care please click here. This is an extraordinary Sunshine Coast based charity dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people living with and beyond cancer.

Operated by a dedicated team of professional staff and assisted by a large number of committed volunteers, Bloomhill Cancer Care receives no on-going government funding and relies primarily on the funds generated by their op shops, the Cotton Tree Markets, and most importantly, on the generosity of the Sunshine Coast community through donations and bequests.

PS As this very exciting event is predominantly outdoors, you're welcome to bring your own picnic blankets, though there will be tables and chairs available.
