Sydney is a beautiful city that sparkles when viewed from the water. Vagabond cruises offers a variety of cruises leaving King Street Wharf. We recently enjoyed the three hour jazz luncheon cruise. The prawns and oysters were tasty and fresh, also offered were sliced roast beef, chicken, a variety of salads, vegetables and bread rolls.



Sailing past Barangaroo we lined up at the bar to purchase drinks as the captain welcomed us and piano music played in the background. Each table was invited in turn to the buffet, there was ample food for all, certainly enough to have seconds. It was very pleasant watching the city drift by and making new friends over lunch.



The pianist and singer were entertaining and happy to oblige requests as well as announce birthdays and anniversaries.
There was a variety of people on board, some large groups celebrating birthdays, couples, families, tourists and locals. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and there was a great atmosphere on the cruise.



After lunch most of the patrons moved to the upper deck to soak up the city sights and take photos. Coffee, fruit and cake were served upstairs to finish the meal. Don't go if you are expecting fine dining and five star service but we had a great time and the three hours went very quickly. The crew and entertainers were friendly and happy and the food was simple but plentiful.
