Karkoo Nursery offers something excitingly different in retail which you don't see very often, if at all. It is an exciting new concept of a retail plant nursery with a licensed music lounge and an engaging live music performance by Melange a Trois, which includes vocalist Sunitra Martinelli, Pascal Nigon and Blackwood's own John De Nichilo.
The soothing sounds of Melange a Trois was first introduced at Karkoo Nursery on Sunday April 15th from 1.30 – 3.30pm and proved so popular the trio's performance was repeated again on April 22 and 29. These live music sessions will continue only on select Sundays. The next sessions with Melange a Trois will be Mother's Day 13th May and to welcome the winter solstice on 24 June 2018 from 1.30pm - 3.30pm.
For details of future Sunday Concerts at Karkoo Nursery it is recommended that you check with Jane and Pete or this online article for published updates.
The relaxing atmosphere allows you to enjoy music as you look around the diverse range of locally grown plants or the eclectic mix of old and new furniture or giftware or garden art while you listen to the sounds of French jazz music. Or when you have completed your shopping and you feel you want a break from gardening, then you can relax over a wine or beer in the undercover surroundings of the licensed Jungle Bar.
