is the new kid in town and you're going to love it. I happened to stumble upon this lovely little cafe when I was banking in Mornington and I am so glad I did.

Inside you can relax as the owners take the very best of care to ensure you're happy and well fed, not to mention warm. I was completely charmed by this new cafe. The chairs by the fire place are cosy, but you can push a pram in to enjoy a really delicious cup of coffee.



Today, however, my husband and I went in to enjoy our favourite thing, poached eggs on toast, and Javier & Sam did not disappoint. My eggs were cooked perfectly with the most delicious mushrooms to accompany them and my husband, who likes a runny poached egg, actually commented on how perfect his were. We were in heaven.

is really all about the little touches I think. The table numbers are wooden hearts, the napkins are wonderfully patterned and a fresh bowl of flowers adorns the beautiful wooden counter. It doesn't stop at the decor either, this cafe serves organic sodas, free range eggs and home made cakes that just add that warm feeling that you only get when you are lucky enough to find a cafe where the owners truly love what they do.



Whatever you do, find an excuse to go and visit this little gem whilst it is still new, you won't regret it.
