Aside from great coffee, the best thing about this cafe is that there are newspapers available and the staff leave you in peace. They don't do table service – perhaps because the array of cakes at the counter draw in more business! With couches near the front window it's a great place to relax, catch up on the news and watch the world go by.
The menu is reasonable and breakfast is served until 5pm daily, though main meals are a bit on the expensive side. Lunch will set you back around $14, with mains up to $24.They also serve kids' meals (pizza, pasta, chips) for $8 each.
For something a little different, try their new Pomegranate or Mango Chai Latte.
Java Lounge takes bookings for functions, and also caters external events. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
