Fabulous Food and Fresh Produce
I happened to be in the city on a Wednesday so decided to check out the Jan Powers Farmer's Market. Wow. What a fabulous range of products and what amazing quality.

There were several stalls of fruit and vegetables - one with samples of apples. I love people who let you try samples. I'm a Pink Lady fan and rarely buy anything else so it was good to try some other apple varieties. I still bought Pink Ladies though.

There were gorgeous flowers and some herbs for sale.

Food stalls offered falafel, pies, fresh pasta and pasta dishes, smoothies, lemon drinks, breads and cakes ... lots of spelt and other gluten free choices, honey, seafood, gelati, nuts and popcorn. The sweet potatoes had a sign saying "Dug up yesterday".

Look at these!

They are there from early in the morning till 5pm ish - so you could buy breakfast and lunch then go back for dinner and some flowers and groceries to take home. There was still plenty to see and buy at 4.30 pm.

One last bit of advice: take a trolley. You'll see lots of irresistible things.
