Jamie's Italian Restaurant, Just Keep Walking
Jamie's Italian Restaurant is a big miss. I was compelled to eat there because every time we walked by, there was a line of people waiting outside the door. It was what I've been looking for in Australia, a restaurant with a wait line. With my first pay check, we wanted to randomly treat ourselves and we chose Jamie's Italian Restaurant to provide us with these needs.

After eating there I know now, we should have just kept walking. Maybe it's because I'm American and we love the "super size" portions, the kind of portions that put you to sleep after eating. We thought with these prices we will be in large heaven. Then the meal came out and we saw what looked liked a child's portion.

If it ended there, there would not be reason to complain. Straight to the point, there was nothing special to the taste of the food. I know I ordered a salmon dish, but I can't recall the dish my partner ate. It was pasta, I know that much. The sauce tasted bland and was not at all fresh. My salmon needed salt and pepper to have any type of flavour. Campbell's Chili Beef can food has more flavour than our dishes that afternoon.

The view was amazing with a table near the window facing the city street. The decor was inviting to both the palette and sight. You aren't missing anything if you just walk by. You already see that it's a beautiful venue.
