A quick visit to Brisbane I felt the need to go exploring some of Brisbane's restaurants. And so I started with Jamie's Italian in the heart of the city.

Jamie's Italian, sources local produce from every city the restaurant's in. This means that although their menus can be quite similar at times but there are certain twists that each of the establishments has.

I arrived on a Monday night where there wasn't much going on throughout Brisbane city. But Jamie's Italian was still quite crowded. I started my night off with their lemony cocktail (one of my favourites) while waiting for my seating. The service wasn't quite what I expected. My table water never arrived even after requesting 3 times with the same waiter. But I'd suppose that's what you get for a semi busy night.

My entree was a mushroom and cheese delight, the main came in a flurry of osso bucco lamb shank and I ended my meal with their ricotta cheesecake which was divine. The meal experience was a delight on my palate even though the serving experience was a little disappointing with no water and forgetting that I may require cutlery after they've taken away the used ones. Although, I did enjoy my first night and the food made up for the service.
