Very easy be enthusiastic for the pleasure of James
Wow, it was indeed a pleasure to see James Smith.
This guy just sat on a stool and talked for an hour - wait a minute isn't that what all comedians do, you ask? Well, not like James Smith did (and he may usually stand but he said he was under the weather at the end of his show, mind you, like a real pro) with no bells or whistles and jokey oneliners, yet it was hilarious. It was like watching the classic Dave Allan.
James talked about all the things that most of us do, but he doesn't, and tries for the rest of us to understand (me too, James, me too).
He only wants to work for an hour and that's all it takes for him to take us on a pleasure cruise. And if this is how he performs when he is so called 'under the weather', gee, I can't imagine his 100% - it could have us all go into convulsions, but please take the chance this last weekend to go and see him. The pleasure will be all yours.
