‘Jalan Jalan’ means 'to go sightseeing', 'to journey', and through these two unique events, we invite to take a journey into the world of Indonesian culture and cuisine.
Saturday 27th April, 2-4.30pm
The Literature Centre, Corner Hampton Rd and Knutsford St, Fremantle
Enjoy the music of the gamelan performed live in the Centre's beautiful garden, taste complimentary Indonesian street food and a glass of wine and meet internationally acclaimed children's author, journalist and musician, Reda Gaudiamo.
In conversation with author and broadcaster Chenèe Marrapodi, Reda will share insights into her diverse career and perform a selection of traditional Indonesian songs and poems from her repertoire.
This is a free event but capacity is limited and bookings are essential.
