Guest Programmer David Stratton has selected three of Jack's classic films - Sunday Too Far Away (recently restored and preserved digitally by the NFSA), Breaker Morant and The Sum of Us.

David introduces the film lineup and traces Jack Thompson's extraordinary career. Matt Carroll (Producer, Sunday Too Far Away), Bruce Beresford (director, Breaker Morant), and Geoff Burton (co-director, The Sum of Us and DOP, Sunday Too Far Away) recorded introductions to their respective features. Other guests include Indigenous composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist William Barton; actor-director Hunter Page-Lochard; actor Sigrid Thornton and NFSA Chief Curator Gayle Lake.

Jack Thompson at 80: A Tribute will raise funds for the indigenous-owned and run health service Purple House.
