Sit and watch the world go by

If you head down to Brodburger (or Kingston for that matter), allow a little time to enjoy the serenity of Jack Ross Park. It sits along the water's edge of the Kingston Foreshore (between Kingston Foreshore Aurora and Waterfront developments, or directly opposite Brodburger, so you can't miss it).

The park has plenty of seating, taking in the water views as well as some intriguing sculptures and little gardens. It is a pretty corner of Canberra, which will lure you into resting awhile.

While no playground as such, kids will love the little pathways and bridges, as well as the artistic turn styles. It has the feel of a secret garden, hidden in plain sight.

So after lunch, grab a coffee and sit back to watch the world go by in one of the funkiest yet prettiest corners of Canberra.
