Founded just a little over 4 months ago on July 1st 2016, Jack & Penny's are already making a name for themselves in the increasingly competitive gourmet pet treat world out there. Founded by a husband and wife team as a run-from-home business, Kim and Julie from Jack & Penny's guarantee that your pooches will love their homemade treats (and if they don't, Kim and Julie will "cheerfully" refund your money - but I highly doubt this will ever happen)!
Kim and Julie's family include 5 children, 2 of which are furbabies. If you hadn't guessed already, the furbabies in the family answer to the names of Jack and Penny! Jack and Penny are Staffordshire Bull Terriers, two easy going and fun loving dogs with distinct personalities - Jack is the quieter one and the fussy eater, whereas Penny would "eat anything that moves". With a fussy eater in the family, and with Jack and Penny being the official taste testers of the Jack & Penny's enterprise, you can shop for treats knowing that your pooch will absolutely love both the treats, and you for buying them!

The human components of their family of 7 eat good, wholesome and nourishing foods - they wanted to give their canine counterparts the same. With most pre-packaged treats containing heaps of preservatives in addition to being expensive, Kim and Julie set off on their mission on making affordable yummy treats that dogs would love and benefit from at the same time. Ingredients are 100% premium human grade - "we wouldn't give your dog anything we wouldn't put in our own mouths".

Blending the goodness of wheatgerm and natural honey with fresh bananas and wholemeal flour, "Jack and Penny's cookies will provide your dog with a wonderful and healthy treat for any time of the day or night".
Wheatgerm, which is rich in Vitamin B for enhanced immunity and Vitamin E for heart health, supports physical and mental health, and is also a source of energy for your dog (not that mine needs any!)
Honey, naturally high in anti-oxidants, enzymes and flavonoids, kills anti-resistant bacteria
Bananas, a great source of potassium, manganese, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, fibre, and biotin, is great for dogs as long as given in moderation

Jack & Penny's offer very competitive prices - 165g bags of biscuit treats cost only $5.00! Bones are sold in packs of 3, for only $4 - what a bargain! With many flavours to choose from, including peanut butter and honey, blueberry, apple and cinnamon, banana and carob, cheesy bacon and apple, blueberry oat, pumpkin and peanut butter, cheesy chicken, peanut butter and banana, and strawberry, choosing just one bag is going to prove to be a challenge. But at such cheap prices, why stop at one?
We chose 5 packs of treats, and Julie was kind enough to throw in some bones for free. Treats so good Eddy was literally 'begging' for them!
