Jack and Jill: The Devil Chemists of Whitechapel is a delightfully gruesome and rollicking theatre show about the art of poisoning at the turn of the century.

Playing at The Mechanics Institute for a strictly limited season this November, Jack and Jill is the torrid tale of two serial killers romancing their way through Victorian London.

The year is 1895 and deep in the underbelly of Victorian society career assassin Jill is at the top of her game as London's most lethal and prolific serial poisoner. She is on the precipice of creating the ultimate poison a poison to defeat death itself - when her world is turned upside down with the return of Jack, her ex-lover. So begins a supreme battle of wits, skill and toying with mortality, as hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and nothing says 'love' like a pile of dead bodies.

The preview season completely sold out in 2013 and the production has been revamped for the larger stage at The Mechanics Institute.

Featuring an original score by mbryo and exquisite costume design by Melbourne's premier Steampunk fashion designer Clockwork Butterfly, Jack and Jill: The Devil Chemists of Whitechapel makes for perfect entertainment this November.

Starring Nichola Jayne and Pat Moonie.

Concept & Artistic Direction by Fyodor Krasniy.

Written and Directed by Emma Buckley.

Produced by Brendan Coppa.
