'I've Got a Little List' - Highlights of Gilbert and Sullivan at Subiaco Arts Centre

I've Got A Little List is a celebration of the partnership between WS Gilbert, Arthur Sullivan and Richard D'Oyly Carte. Proudly brought to you by the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Western Australia and performed at the Subiaco Arts Centre , this show will run for five shows only, between Wednesday 22nd May, 2013 and Saturday 25th May, 2013.



Set in England, at the dawn of the Victorian age, this show is largely narrated by D'Oyly Carte and tells the story of the collaborations between Gilbert and Sullivan with musical pieces from thirteen of their operas.

If you are not already a fan of Gilbert and Sullivan this is a great introduction to their work. Come along and enjoy snippets of from their internationally famous comic operas, you might be surprised how many you know.

Written and directed by Donna and Andrew Foote, I've Got a Little List is a fully costumed production, full of colour and song. The show is fun, witty and a little sad, but it contains 'All the best bits' of Gilbert and Sullivan's work.

I've Got A Little List features wonderful tunes from The Mikado, Ruddigore, The Gondoliers, Princess Ida, Iolanthe, Patience, H.M.S. Pinafore, Trial by Jury, The Sorcerer, Utopia Limited, The Grand Duke, The Yeomen of the Guard and The Pirates of Penzance.

This is a not to be missed event for Gilbert and Sullivan fans.

Shows start at 7.30pm and doors open at 7.15pm or for the afternoon matinee - show starts at 2pm and doors open at 1.45pm. The show runs for approximately two hours and twenty minutes which includes a short interval. Tickets cost $20.00 for children (4 to 16 years of age), $42.00 for adults and $37.00 for concession holders. Tickets are available from Ticketek .
