In Australia, we race across the road when the little green man tells us we have 30 seconds to make it across and we make it our goal to beat the timer. He has discovered after living here for 5 years how to be a true Aussie. It's all in the lingo, he says "You don't speak English here, you speak 'Strayan''. He has learned a few phrases that he can use universally to keep a conversation going here in Australia. Constant use of the f-bomb happens on a daily basis in most conversations, but he loves it here and feels he has found his place.
