They want to fill the gallery with images from nature and so far have had some exciting talent heed the call. Given the topicality of environmental issues, I'm sure it will be a powerful exhibition. Art is a great vehicle to at once express the emotions of these issues whilst giving the spectator an alternative view for contemplation.
Working across Australia, France and South East Asia, Wendy Donellan is a highly versatile artist featured at the exhibition. A specialist in Communication and Business Development, her work is focused on promoting positive changes in people and their environments.

Songstress Naomi Sunderland will be performing live on opening night, her ambient folk music and hypnotic voice offering light and soul to perfectly compliment the works. One of her latest music videos, Fully Formed, was recorded in the gallery at Art & Design Precinct.
An intriguing, local Brisbane artist Karen Benjamin, makes all sorts of amazing art from heat shrunk plastic bags and other disposable items that one would normally throw away (or hopefully recycle). Completely self taught, Karen is an emerging artist to keep an eye on.

Michelle Bowden, artist in residence, and Co-Director, at Art & Design Precinct has been working on a series of paintings about Ghost Nets, an environmental issue she would like to raise awareness about. Her works and more information on Ghost Nets will be there throughout the exhibition.
