Leesa Jackson is a doctor working for The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) aims to enter the 60km walk for a great cause but needs to raise $2000 as her entry fee. The Weekend to End Women's Cancer is a fundraising weekend seeking awareness for those battling cancer and a time for remembering those who have lost their lives in the past to gynecological and breast cancer.

To help Leesa on her way, she is hosting a geeky charity night with themed trivia at the Enoggera Bowls Club. Rounds will include topics such as Harry Potter, LoTR, Star Trek, Star Wars and you could win a swag of comic-book themed prizes such as a custom made light sabre, movie tickets, dinner vouchers, free fitness classes which have been donated by local businesses. The best prize by far is a custom drawn pair of personalized shoes designed and drawn by Andrew Huxley of HEC Art for the winner of Best Costume.

Make a night of it as there will be an arcade game, snacks for sale, and the Bowls Club will be selling drinks. So dust off your Darth Vadar helmet from that Star Wars party you went too or find your Luke Skywalker jedi robes (because you just happen to have some lying around) and get yourself down to the Bowls Club to support a great girl making a difference to women with cancer.

If you can't make it on the night but would love to help Leesa reach her goal of $2000, you can donate here.
