Museum hosts child activities to learn about the past
Each Monday in March, the Wanneroo Regional Museum is hosting an event for children, aged two years to five years. The event titled, "Its All About the Past" is self-led with staff on hand to provide ideas for all to enjoy their time. Parents and adults caring for the young ones must stay for the duration of the event and participate with the children.

The Wanneroo Regional Museum opened in September 2009 and provides a range of stories and themes based on the development of the area, including the Indigenous past and pioneers through to modern day occurrences. The museum runs a popular education programme, outreaches resources to local schools as well as hosting school holiday activities for the whole family. Travel through time to explore the exhibits, which include audio-visuals, interactive displays and much more.
Dates for this event are 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th March 2021 from 10.00am to 12.30pm. Social distancing and healthy hygiene will be maintained throughout each activity and if children are unwell, you are asked to stay at home. This event is FREE but to attend you must register through Eventbrite.
