The 2018 Lavazza Italian Film Festival, presented by Palace Cinemas, is returning to cinemas nationally, showcasing the best of Italian films produced in the last year. The festival, now in its 19th year, attracts huge audiences, making it the biggest celebration of Italian films outside of Italy.
The festival in Melbourne runs from 13th September to 7th October. On opening night, guests will be treated to a reception of music and nibbles followed by the premiere movie screening of 'Loro' at select Palace Cinema venues.
You do not need to have been born in Italy or know Italian to watch the movies as most carry English subtitles, or will screen in English. The organisers have made certain moviegoers will be delighted, screening films to suit all tastes. If you love a good comedy, drama, crime, horror or documentary, you'll love this film festival with some of the films set to premiere in Australia.
