The 8th annual Italian Festival comes to the Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort [EBTR] this weekend, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April between 9am and 4pm. Entry is free as it has been since the first festival.

'Italian Week is a special time of the year, Italy comes to the Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort' says Jerry Altavilla, owner of the complex and creator of Italian Week.



The festival is held in a complex like no other on the Central Coast. The architecture echoes the spirit of the Mediterranean which is the perfect place to display the culture and traditions of Italy. Included is a boutique 40 room motel, the amazing 6 cinemas [Cinema Paradiso], visit the 80 boutiques and take a leisurely promenade along the many arcades, featuring wares ranging from antiques to bowling gear. 10 restaurants to choose from featuring cuisine from around the world and 5 cafes which serve freshly roasted coffee, considered the best on the coast.

These are just a few reasons why the annual Italian festival at EBTR is such a great success and the place to be this weekend.



70,000 people have visited the annual festival since the first back in 2009. The numbers have grown over the years, as has its popularity. Style is the hallmark of everything Italian. There is a universal love of all things from the country of ' Dolce Vita' [The sweet Life].

The Italian influence in Australia is profound. Food and wine, music and song, fashion and jewellery, and cars and bikes will be on display. Mr. Simon Sewell, who has created much of the Italian Renaissance art found throughout the resort, will be adding to his collection of work for all to see. Punch and Judy, Pinocchio shows and Benny the donkey will be favourites with the children. Jewellery and mask making will interest children and adults alike.


If this is too much for one day, why not stay in the motel overnight and watch a movie in one of the 6 cinemas and dinner in one of the restaurants?
