The park with the works and then some
Located on Opie Road in Deer Park is the Isabella Williams Memorial Reserve. If your kids are looking for a park with the works in the north west suburbs of Melbourne, this is it.

The park features three different slides, including a super dooper long slide my kids were simply flying off of and a yellow covered twisted slide, two swing sets for younger and older children, climbing walls, cargo nets, sand pit, bouncey red ride-on tractor, and a fun bird's nest swing.

Three different slides: yellow covered twisted slide, super long slide and medium size slide

For those children who love to get dizzy, they can go crazy on the spinning "super nova" wheel and, for the little ones, there is a spinning yellow cup seat.

The park has shaded areas over the sand pit and two communal tables with barbecues, public toilets, and plenty of parking.

The playground is situated on different levels surrounded by lots of native vegetation and features soft rubber play surfaces with Kororoit Creek Trail to the north of the park.

Great for kids' parties and family gatherings, come join the other families having fun times at this local reserve.

Your Comment
A Comment from a local: the park is indeed worth visiting, with a variety of activities for all ages (there is also an adjacent workout/fitness area) and a picturesque Aboriginal reserve called Ballum Ballum (just follow the Kororoit Creek to your left).
