This coming of age film focuses on 17-year-old Mark Blazey who has just been expelled from his private school. He struggles to fit in with other boys who dish out some cruel hazing. His vice-principal has grudge against him and judges his behaviour based upon his older brother Jimmy (played by Matthew Colwell better known as hip hop artist 360) who is headed back to jail.

The eclectic sound track provides just the right amount of tension. This movie is a gritty portrayal of the difficult journey towards self-identity and manhood.

Is This the Real World is coming to cinemas in Australia from Thursday 9th June 2016. It will be appearing at New Farm Cinemas in Queensland and various other cinemas around Australia.
