Following a successful season at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, self described slashie (aka actor/writer) Rajendra Moodley brings his critically acclaimed show 'Is It Because I'm Indian?' to the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2015.
Proudly supported by New Indian Restaurant, this highly entertainingly comedy show will play at Nexus Cabaret for 5 shows only between Thursday 12th and Sunday 15th of February 2015.
This one man show sees Raj attempt to break free from being cast as the 'token Indian', but after personal setbacks, his life comes full circle when he ends up back where he started at an extras agency.
Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Or is it just the headlights of an oncoming taxi?
Directed by Carolyn Bock, don't miss this opportunity to see Raj's unique take on racism in Australia.
Tickets for this show are now on sale and are priced as follows: Adult $25.00; Concession $19.00 and Group (6 or more) $22.00.
Patrons can also take advantage of a Meal & Show option priced at $42.00 ($36.00 concession) - the meal will be provided around the corner at New India Restaurant (167 Hindley St) either before or after the show.
