The festival officially launches each year with Float like a Butterfly, an uplifting drama from the producers of Sing Street and the Oscar-winning film Once. Float like a Butterfly is set in 1972 when Muhammad Ali was set to fight in Dublin, the film follows Francis, a young Irish traveller girl, with big dreams of becoming a champion boxer.
